Core Values of The Rock Church

We are on a God-given mission, bigger than anything we can comprehend, more important then anything we've ever done, delivered by none other than Jesus Himself, the local Church. At the center of The Rock Church are the following values. They are the bedrock of all we do, immovable, cannot be compromised, detoured around or lured away. This is who we are; it is who you will become as you live your Christian life out with The Rock Church.

We Build From Blueprints - In order to build people and churches, generations and cities; we will follow the biblical design for life and church. We will deploy every creative means of communication imaginable to construct a culture that brings glory to God.

We are Recognized by What We are For - We will intentionally speak and act with edification, encouragement and faith over our people. We will proclaim the grace of Jesus rather than use our influence to condemn.

We are Passionate about Quality Time - The Rock Church will be the house of prayer Jesus envisioned and commissioned as a lifeline of power to intercede on behalf of generations in the earth today who do not know or experience Jesus Christ.

We are Unapologetic in our Love - We will not cater to personal preference in our mission to Connect People to Life.  We are more focused with the people we are trying to reach than the people we are trying to keep.

We Stick to our Guns - We trust in the power of God for the restoration of people's lives spirit, soul and body.  We, the church, have all the weapons needed to help people solve their life dominating problems the work of Jesus Christ, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

We are Disneyland, not Vegas - Culture determines destination. We will be attractive to children and young people, creating a worship experience that boldly celebrates Jesus Christ with every generation.

We will not Pass Over Broken - Serving enables love. We place these acts of unparalleled love to flow out as the love of God flows in. Unequal emphasis on serving and giving.

We will be Found on the Extra Mile - We want to always demonstrate compassion, kindness, gentleness, passion, excellence and extravagance in every endeavor, checking the compass and map of progress as we travel.

We are a Community of Honor - We freely give honor to those alongside us, around us, near us, faraway from us, higher than us and underneath us because of how God has called and where God has positioned them.

We are a Seahawks game - We are not a community full of division; instead, we are a relational united force, under one leader, for one cause, to one end that all may know the King and extend the Kingdom.

We Frustrate the Stingy - The people and households of The Rock Church will continuously go above and beyond to give sacrificially to the work of God in our city.

We are Identified by Actions - We will be assessed by our seen and unseen thoughts, words and actions. We will continuously retain a posture of learning, repentance, faith and growth as we make new important discoveries.
