Activity Reach Teams at The Rock Church
Activity-based Reach Teams (ARTs) are individually-led small group activities for people to invite non-church goers and learn what "Christian living" is all about. ARTs range from Game Night to Date Night, Flag Football to Fly Fishing. ARTs meet based on each team's need and availablility. An Activity-based Reach Team is committed to reaching the unsaved and growing the Christian within through activities and building relationships with other Christians.

540 Friday Night

The Court is Waiting!

Are you ready to amp it up with some competitive on-court action? The basketball court is waiting for you! Come out and get your game on at Grid 29:11 with some tournament style basketball.
Disc Golf

I grabbed this off the Professional Disc Golf Association Page (no joke!): Disc golf is a recreational sport for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ability. The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc.
It’s similar to golf but you use a special Frisbee™ and you throw it into a basket.

Geocaching with Kids

Outdoor Treasure Hunt! People hide waterproof canisters full of prizes and a log book on public land. They post the GPS coordinates online so that others can go and find their cache. We will search for geocaches all around Seattle and then hide a few of our own.
The Grid Coffee House

Local Christian bands come and play music in the Grid. The café will be open for some time to relax, hear some music, and build relationships.
Handgun Shooting

Have you ever wanted to shoot a handgun? Have you thought about it, but then thought “I don’t know anything about handguns.” Well now it you chance to learn about guns and how to shoot a handgun. We’ll learn a lot about gun safety, proper gun handling, gun terms, and definitely some shooting techniques and skills. You must be 21 years of age or older and sign a release form from The Rock Church and from the selected shooting range.

This spring and summer come take on some of the Northwest’s thrilling rivers. River Rafting Activity Reach Team will travel to 3 rivers in Washington and be led by a local river guide. Rivers to be rafted will be determined based on conditions and participants will be required to pay for the guided trips. Equipment is provided with fee.

The Northwest is famous for its amazing hiking trails. Let’s go check some out! We’ll go early Saturday mornings to leave the rest of your day open. We’ll start with some lower hikes this spring to avoid the enormous snowfall, and then go higher as the summer goes on.

We’ll utilize the Cherry Choo Choo’s classroom at TRC so the children can actively play while parents converse in talk, prayer, and scripture. No childcare provided, participants will supervise their own children.
