expand What is the mission, or what are the values of LifeSavers Children's Ministry at The Rock Church?
As part of The Rock Church, our mission and our set values are one and the same: Connect people (children) to Life! LifeSavers follow and project The Rock Church's core values to little ones every day.
expand How do you instill the values within the children?

expand What ages are part of LifeSavers Children's Ministry?
LifeSavers Children's Ministry covers infants to 5th grade children. The Rock Church has 5 individual classrooms that are age-appropriate for each young person.
expand What happens in case of emergency or if my child is injured?
In the event an emergency, The Rock Church has a procedure in place which is designed to quickly place the children in a safe location. In case of a serious injury, the parent(s) will be notified immediately.
expand Why do I have to check-in my child?
The Rock Church has many activities each Worship Experience, at three distinct locations- Worship Center, LifeSavers Children's Ministry, and the GRID 29:11. To aid parents and church leaders and volunteers, checking in a child provides information regarding age group, any health concerns, and who is allowed to pick up the child after service. The Rock Church wants parents to feel safe entrusting their children to LifeSavers Children's Ministry.
expand What time can I bring my child to LifeSavers?
The Rock Church Worship Experience begins at 9 and 11am on Sundays. Parents should check-in their child roughly 15 minutes before service begins. If you wish to stay for both services, you must pick up your child(ren) between services.
expand Who leads children in the classrooms?
Staci Scheffer is The Rock Church's Children's Director. She and her husband Todd lead the overall operation of LifeSaver's Children Ministry under the guidance of Senior Pastor Jeff Knight. Each classroom has a teacher and two assistants. Each adult volunteer in LifeSavers Children's Ministry is required to have a background check and be a member of The Rock Church. Each volunteer also fills out an application and is thoroughly interviewed before being approved to serve in LifeSavers.
expand Are there any special events for children?
Yes! In 2007, LifeSavers Children's Ministry launched JAM! Family Service. On the 5th Wednesday of the month, JAM! happens at 7pm. JAM! brings all the children into the Worship Center where they part of the service. The Rock Church has brought in Bibleman, Andy Holmes, and a whole lot of packing peanuts to help engage the children into worshipping God.

Additionally, there is a summer camp for 3rd-5th graders, Children's Adventure Vacation Bible School for 3yrs-2nd grade, and events like Easter Eggstravaganza.
