Jesus says if we want to experience life, death is the only way to get there. He shows us this by willingly walking toward the cross, and he simply says, “Follow me”. He leads us to life when we choose to die to ourselves and pick up our cross and follow Him. God calls us to relinquish our agendas, our plans, and our empty pleasure pursuits, and in turn He empowers us to pursue a life greater than we could ever imagine.

Jesus invites us to be the modern day twelve and learn the secrets of the Kingdom of God through His word. We need to have the Word of God firmly planted in our hearts in order to withstand the struggles of life and unlock the secrets of God's kingdom.

The name of Jesus saves our souls when we call upon it, and gives us the authority to do His work. Jesus shows us that His name is all-powerful, and is all we need to sustain us on the mission He has placed on our lives.
