Friday

A. Expanding Methodology and Getting Permission

Pastor Jeff Knight tackles the topic of making the Gospel relevant to both older and younger generations who have not heard the Gospel, but still keep intact the integrity of God’s Word. Today’s powerful church leaders have amazing impartation and use sophisticated methods to augment the Word, not replace it. This session will enable and empower pastors to reach out and grasp all the tools available.

B. Inspiring a Creative Culture

Ken Holsinger will pull from his 10+ years in the creative technology field to give leaders a start in creating their own “Creative Culture.” Ken will provide expertise in finding and drawing out the creative ideas that help make indelible worship experiences.

C. Doing the Best With What You Have.

The Rock Church Creative Team take this session to discuss that it’s not the amount of new technology or new props that distinguish a poor presentation or an “off-the-hook” one. It’s about doing the best with what you have, and throughout the history of The Rock Church, excellence is something shared in the entire team.

Saturday

A. Blogging With a Purpose

Tony Morgan is one of the top church-focused bloggers today, sharing experiences in the church that connect people across the Internet. In this session, Tony will talk about what blogging does for pastors, the congregation, and the church body.

B. Worship Planning

Ken Holsinger leads this session to establish ideas, methods, and resources to create worship experiences that help church attendees to engage and participate in your church’s worship.

C. Creating an Environment for Youth and Children

Youth Pastor Travis Warren and Children’s Ministry Director Staci Scheffer share the successes (and failures) of the Youth and Children’s ministries throughout the years in this session. Travis and Staci have a passion to reach the youngest generations, and share methods used in Youth and Children’s ministry, and the problems they face today.
