Volunteering At The Rock Church
Greeters offer a friendly smile and handshake to each person who travels through the doors of the church.
Ushers direct people to available seats before service and help direct guests to various areas after service.
Guest Services take care of new guests of The Rock Church and provide the staffing of the Information Kiosk.
Camera Operators are the eyes of a Worship Experience. Nearly all services are recorded at The Rock Church, and Camera Operators play an important part.
Graphics Operators manage screen content. From songs to curtain warmers to scripture references, Graphic Operators enhance visual aides for Worship Experiences.
Sound Engineers run the sound system during Worship Experiences. Sound Engineers troubleshoot audio issues, prepare stage equipment and assist the worship team.
Lighting Director operates the lighting system of The Rock Church. The Lighting Director helps prepare the mood through the use of lighting and assist the worship team by using lighting cues to engage the audience in worship.
Teacher: Classroom leader that leads the classroom message, worship, and activity.
Trainer: Assists the Teacher in sharing the message to children.
Assistant Trainer: Typically a younger volunteer, the Assistant Trainer role is designed to help the Teacher and become a Trainer to lead the children.
